Fun. But.

It’s a great app and love the slots they have. Hit a few ‘true’ jackpots in my first 5 months. But nothing since november and I play pretty regularly. I have over $60M in ‘my pot’, so understand some of the frustrations some have voiced, but also understand it’s the luck of the slot you get. I have noted that at the beginner level some of the slots with really high jackpots have people who hog the machines for days on end. (one on halloween heroes has been on the same slot for over a week!). Cannot imagine they are playing that entire time. Just keeping it ‘open’ on their system so they can go back to it when they want to play and hope to win that big payout. I think they need to set it up so that after an hour of inactivity you are automatically disconnected to give everyone a fair shot at those slots when they are not playing.

UPDATE TO RESPONSE: I understand it is the luck of the draw and commented as much in my review above. Your ‘canned’ response (same as on some other reviews) did not address my concern about people hogging high jackpot machines at the beginner level for weeks on end. I cannot imagine they are playing non-stop 24/7. After an hour or two of inactivity playing on a machine you should disconnect them so others have opportunities to play those slots.

I enjoy the variety of your games, but find the small wins against large bets a bit frustrating. Been playing for a few months and have won a few jackpots, however; since your last two updates the slots have gotten much tighter. In one day alone I lost over 1.5 billion chips. Even more recently the drain on the game bank is akin to a death by a thousand cuts, slow and agonizing. Please understand I truly enjoy the games, just loosen the slots up a bit. Also please don’t speak about luck with this app, your business model was not predicated on luck. You have pay tables based on the probability of a combination showing up and therefore as such you can adjust accordingly. This app could truly be great if there was a loosening of the slots by about 3.5 percent. People would play more if the frequency of wins were increased. Common knowledge house controls how much is won at slots and not luck.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes you can win bigtime and later that afternoon was awful because you lost all of your money. Well almost. My advise is to stop playing when there is a blatant lack of wining no matter what you do and if I buy more chips that makes matter worse because I for sure win nothing, nothing, nada. There are certain times of the day/ night your luck will change. Keep playing and you should win depending on what and how you bet. But when you play and suddenly realize that you've won nothing in twenty minutes, unlike the same twenty minutes in the early morning when you won more than ever, quit, log out, whatever it takes to see you are likely not to win so wait a few hours and try playing from 5 pm on. I call that happy hour in slotsville. Another time to play is 1 am and if you aren't winning either of those two time suggestions do your own comparisons, your own statistics, you'll learn when to stop playing even if takes several losing streaks.

Beware of doubleucasino promo offers. It wasn't the first time I didn't get the amount of chips I was buying so I made a screen copy of the offer. It said 270 mil chips for 99.99, they gave me 220 mil. I sent in 7 requests for a correction or reimbursement. Only got one response, obviously computer generated said they reviewed transaction and it went thru! Hah! I was ripped off. When I sent yet another complaint about the problem, they took 1.4billion chips that I had earned over several days. Again I really complained and I doubt they will give anything back. Well i must be the latest idiot to leave double U after getting VIP restricted to 3 days, i seen the machines all were high roller so i stupidly bought 4 offers for their chips, i should have bought the top black account for $999 it would have worked out cheaper to what i bought. ISSUES haha 1st long standing issue restricting paying members, they don't RESTRICT, what they do is force players to the last 3 levels of the machines as you know these can be 300+ million to spin but between spins or bonus rounds if i spin 300 million theirs no way in hell i want winning lines of 48,000, so you drop back to level 1 720k per spin but because of buying chips your profile is auto updated and your level along with VIP is restricted towards the 1st 5 reel levels forcing you to only win at the top end of the machines by win i mean maybe you get a good bonus round between 20 or 50 million spent on spins this is on every slot machine the restriction is a hidden on screen device that makes the machine think its a level 1 basic payout only its not. Double charging for every purchase

This probably won’t be published but here goes. Every time I buy from DUC they double charge a few days later. At first I didn’t know cuz it was going thru itunes to family credit card. What an ambarrassment when card owner got dinged. Then we got that changed and I go through paypal to my bank. I thought if I bought a 99.99 pkg they wouldn’t dare be so obviously robbing me but they are greedy pigs and today I see both aug 3 and aug 15 99.99 dings on my account, so here we go again. Yes I would participate in A CLASS ACTION SUIT against these robbers. Plus, my purchase said I qualified for 480 million for the 99, but only 220 million was put in my bank. Oh, it’s my fault for being stupid, but THEY ARE CROOKS and I can’t find a phone number to call them. Any help out there?

I went to log on this morning and my account and all my money had disappeared now I cant find the game at all. With all the money I have spent buying chips I am very annoyed, I play this game everyday and I want to keep playing but how can you if you cant even get on the game. It shameful that DD does this because the games are very realistic and modern. The payouts are lame and after I swore never to buy chips again I did. Took less than two hours to go through $40 worth of chips and less than a day to go through $100. Seems like DD only wants your money. Going into playing we know we aren’t winning real money just want to play and have a little fun. So why is so hard to let that happen. If I put money in a real slot machine I have the hope to win real money. With DD it’s just for some fun so it wouldn’t hurt to let us play more without being robbed blind. For now on I’m only playing after the free spin and codes I get. The payouts are even less when it’s just free spin and codes, I know this for fact because I play a lot. Now I’m completely frustrated. They still haven’t fix the glitch where you can see what coins you left. Goes up and down and up down for no reason. Contacted customer care and they say they know but haven’t been able to fix. They also say it shouldn’t bother me to go off game and back on to see what coins I have left. Why would I want to do that. Sorry DD you lost a regular customer because of your greed. I don’t want spend my money that I set aside for fun to be annoyed. Shame on you and this is my second negative review. Shame on me for buying into it. Again.

What’s wrong with the zorro app? I opened doubledown did my feee spin and that brought my total $24,000,000, I wanted to play zorro and so went to the game and picked 10,0000K to plat, when I did the first spring, it took my chips down to around d $6,000,000 or so, so I’m thinking I placed the worn bet and it went down to $2,000,000. There is something drastically wrong here because the “K”. Or ally equals thousand, not million. Someone needs to go I. And quickly fix this program because something is drastically wrong.

I went to the help app to try and contact the site techs and although it gives you various things to submit a ticket on for help, errors in the way the app calculates and takes your bet IS NOT ONE, and you cannot submit a ticket on your question or talk to any tech support because there is none. You just lose your coins and that’s, that. Don’t play zorro, it will eat your chips, not give you any winnings and no one or no contact information is available to assist you. There is no “other” question field where you. An write in your problem and get an answer. Someone handling the doubledown app needs to look into this problem, for all reasons in the universe, as far as I know, $10K equals $10,000, NOT $10,000,000 million).

Very disappointing

I use to love this app. Lately the bonuses are far and few between. When you finally get a bonus it is so minimal, even when betting the max. I have bought coins each time there is a sale but all it does is just eat the coins up. This pertains to all the games. Believe me I have tried them all. It seems like the owners have tightened all the games up. I am deleting this app.

I gave up on this app over a year ago and have been playing four other slot apps. A couple months ago, I decided to download double downs again and I have been playing sparingly to build up points. The new lobster 3 has been fun. But, besides the frustration of the meager bonus sessions, I was able to build up to 15,000,000 credits by the time I shutdown last night. This morning, I opened double downs to get my daily spin credits and find that I only have 5,400 total credits on my account. I had problems before losing credits between sessions but since I returned to playing these past 2 months, I have been maintaining credits so I thought that the problem with disappearing credits was fixed. I was wrong because double downs did it again!! It’s bad enough to loose the credits through non-productive spins but to find 15,000,000 credits missing just between turning my I-pad “OFF to ON” is maddening.
